In Front and Behind the Camera

Since freshmen year of high school, when I joined my high school’s Paragon Yearbook staff, photography has been a talent I have been able to take everywhere. After four years on staff, including one year as Photo Editor and my senior year as Editor-in-Chief, I joined the Baylor University Round-Up Yearbook as Sports Editor. While I was not hired as a Staff Photographer, I continued my love of photography at Baylor by doing freelance work such as senior portraits, prom photos, and capturing their talents.
As I made friends with people who happened to be photographers but with more training and talent than myself, I began to find myself in front of the camera more rather than behind it. I still loved to editing process; bringing out the vibrance in colors, intensifying contrasts and shadows for depth, and eventually adding some fun effects for my personal enjoyment.
The photos in this gallery first feature my work behind the camera, then move into what I have done in front of it.
The first few are planned shots and modeling, and the gallery closes with candid photos of myself performing as C’Tonya Faze.
